Reporting of Wrongdoing Management

Whistleblowing is the process through which a person reports, in a safe and confidential way, unlawful or irregular behavior they have become aware of in their workplace. It may concern violations of laws, regulations, or ethical principles and represents a key tool to promote transparency, integrity, and risk prevention within organizations.
EU Directive 2019/1937 requires public entities and private companies with more than 50 employees to implement secure reporting channels and guarantee whistleblower protection, including protection from retaliation and data confidentiality. It also defines clear procedures for handling reports and introduces a sanction system for non-compliance.
